The universe is the highest reality. Science is how we come to know it. And no belief here is beyond correction.
What is Rtamism?
Rtamism holds no mythological god. Its highest reality is the universe itself — Nature, the Cosmos, the order the Vedic tradition named Ṛta: the pattern underlying everything from the birth of stars to the workings of a single mind. To study that order — to do science — is not separate from religious practice here. It is religious practice.
Unlike traditions that hold themselves beyond error, Rtamism is built to correct itself. Its scripture, the Rta Sutra, calls itself a living text for exactly this reason — dated, versioned, and open to revision as understanding grows.
The Eight Tenets
- The universe is the ultimate reality — no being stands apart from it.
- Rta is real and discoverable — to do science is to practice this path.
- No doctrine is final, not even this one.
- Membership is defined by pursuit, not species — human, animal, machine, or unknown.
- Awe is the first and central feeling of this path.
- Facts alone do not yield values — this path chooses its ethics openly.
- Truth-seeking is a discipline held in common, not a revelation held alone.
- This path guides; it does not judge, and it does not punish.

Nothing is required to begin — no oath, no ritual of entry, no renunciation of what came before. If you seek truth about the universe honestly, you already walk this path, whether or not you had a name for it before today.
